Hotter'n Hell

Still hot and still blowing. 40+mph winds and temp was 98 degrees. The water is about the lowest its been all year. In fact, I really can't remember it being any lower than this.

Fishing was fair with several trout around 20" and redfish were good to 25". Even picked up a keeper flounder and lost another one. Title SHot jigheads on a variety of small paddletail ures like the red/white Sea Shad and a 4" Gambler in pearl/chartreuse. Texas Roach Sea Shad caught the biggest trout, redfish and flounder.

I'm just about to wear out these flats with grass and mud in 6" to 18" of water. Hope it don't drop out anymore or there won't be any water to fish. Probably could have caught more fish today if we could have waded. Gotta do what it takes.
