Windy and Hot

Winds cranked well over the 30 mph mark today and it felt like a sauna out there. Fortunately, the fish are cooperating a little better. We had relatively easy limits on redfish up to 24" in shallow water over grass and mud from 6" to 18" deep.

Trout were fair up to 22". They definitely look like they are spwaned out.

All fish were caught on red/white Cocahoes or Red/white Sea Shad rigged on 1/16 oz. Title SHot jigheads. These weedless jigheads have definitely found a permanent place in my arsenal. I am fishing areas with heavy floating grass and these well designed jigheads are the first I've used that truly shed the worst of the grass virtually every time.
