Beautiful weather for a change. Hit several open water spots that have been idle for a few weeks. Not a lot of bait movement anywhere today. Looks like the fish are taking a breather after all the winds lately.
Had decent mid morning bite on plastics and gold spoons. Most fish came from mud/grass flat in thigh deep water. Water temps were 87 degrees today on the flats. Ended the day with ten trout to 18" and three reds to 26". Got a good group coming in this afternoon so should have a better report tomorrow.
